Snowy... the story continues....

Sorry that I didn't post anything last week, but I was busy. I was writing an article for Calliope, I'll post it next week.

Now let's continue with Snowy's story. Soon the the human pets put color on our tail. My sister Helen heard why--it was so they could tell us apart. I found that odd, I never realized that we looked so much alike. We we didn't. Einstein was missing a whisker, Helen had lighter eyes and I my fur ruffled out when I sat. We didn't have any problems telling each other apart. The marking didn't last very long, so they did it again. I didn't like it... so I ran away whenever they tried to put them on.

Every week our home is cleaned. I don't find it as annoying as I did in our first home when I had all my food stored in the bedding. Each week we got placed in a cardbard box with just our wheel. And then they took away our home and when it came back, it smelled all nice. They had also put in fresh bedding. Apparently they tried to put everything back in the same place. Because I'm much closer to the ground and notice things around my home more carefully then they do, some stuff was put back in different places. For example, my wheel was sometime one rung lower on the white thing then the week before. Sometime, they switched the cardboard tube. Well, we also nibble on the cardboard tubes, so if they didn't put in a new one we would run out eventually.

We generally get fed in the evening, but the exact time varies. If we get fed later in the evening, we get an extra piece of corn. Usually when our human pet makes us do something scary, she rewards us with a seed.

Oh... she's picking me up now so I have to put the keyboard and the mouse (which doesn't look anything like me) away.

  1. What a great story, it's true that human pets don't pay attention to what we do. I like what you said about the mouse not looking like you!
